It’s hilarious watching non-Americans react to this with fear because I read it just nodding along like “yes, in fact this is How Things Are, there you go”

sexycraisinthanos

If you ask an American how they are and they respond “Super.” that means they want to die

Finally saw the new Spiderman and loved it!!

(Minimal not really spoilers ahead I guess?)

What I especially loved was the camaraderie between all the spider people, and, as @im-fairly-whitty pointed out to me, poor Noir probably really enjoyed having a break from his super dark (in both senses of the word) universe.

So I drew him some fluff, cuz heaven knows he deserves it :)

(They all do. )

LET THE POOR BOY HAVE FRIENDS his world is so gritty and dark Spider-Man

It’s Teacher!AU’s one-year anniversary!!

One year ago, I had emotion at 3 am and then all of this happened.

Ordinarily I wouldn’t get so gushy over a fic, but Teacher!AU’s been such a ride that I feel like I need to have a tiny celebration. I’ve had so much fun, and I feel like I’ve improved so much as a writer, but most importantly I’ve met so many wonderful people with the fandom and made so many friends (especially @im-fairly-whitty who 1) has shown me that co-writers can work marvelously together and more importantly 2) become a wonderful irl friend because of our fic). Seriously, I’ve never had a fic make such an indent on my irl life before, and so I think that’s worth celebrating.

There’s still plenty of story left, so stay tuned! Wit and I have some really exciting stuff coming up in the next few chapters, so you’ll want to catch all that.

And, as always, thank you all so, SO much. For reading, for your support, for your patience when life gets in the way of updates, for all the asks and meta and art and comments and everything you guys do. You’re honestly the reason it’s still going strong, and I appreciate all of you so much.

Well a week ago today I read the first chapter of The Way You Keep Me Guessing, but of course at the time it wasn’t named that yet and it wasn’t even a first chapter, just a oneshot! But I loved it so much that I had to go pester Slush to see if they would let me write a second chapter to the story, which turned into a third and a fourth chapter and then a full au and then other aus and new friends and cross county flights and trips to Disneyland and it’s just been such a wild ride. Ive come such a long way as a writer and having Slush as a co-writer and friend has been a constant delight. Not to mention getting to know such a lovely reader community who is constantly excited to help build more and more story for us all to enjoy. So this is my bit of gushing, thank you so much to the people that inspired the fic, to my wonderful co author and friend for helping it to even happen, and to our readers for being excited about it and giving it the energy and life that’s kept it going so long and strong. ❤️

Such a fun project and such a great experience

pencokun asked:

You're probably tired of these but I am hecking curious! How does Putri (my real name) taste like? How about Penco (I am so sorry for asking twice ; w ;)? Thanks in advance!

Putri: The texture of an overripe peach, but the flavor is actually really understated, almost non-existent peach flavor

Penco: Animal crackers and the taste of chewing on the end of a cheap bic ballpoint pen, the kind that has a clear end.

Elixa Neumann: Elixa is melting strawberry jello, specifically the texture of pouring out the nearly-liquid-nearly-solid food. Neumann is salted peanuts and the smell taste of a paper concessions tray like you’d find at a baseball stadium.

Simon Rasmssen: Simon tastes like a leaf. Like, I don’t think it’s even spinach or any kind of leaf you’re supposed to eat, it’s just literally if you grabbed a leaf off a tree and stuck it on your tongue without chewing. Wisps of peppermint smell flavor in the background, but not from the leaf itself. Rasmussen tastes like a thick airy raspberry filling that’s slightly chilled, like you might find in a macaron, but also with some kind of green leafy taste in it.

Hannah Madar: Saltine crackers and fresh lettuce for Hannah, Madar tastes like biting into a red apple with some kind of rich stew broth too.

Justanothershawngirl: That’s called chromesthesia, when music brings up colors and images in your mind’s eye, it seems really cool! I haven’t personally seen her blog before now, but after glancing at it I’ve now seen more Shawn Mendez fanfiction than I’ve ever imagined existed in my life. x)

synesthesia name taste testing I still like doing these I just wait until a small batch builds up so I dont flood people's dashes
